Cupcakes Actually will be open on Wednesday, 11-23 from 10:00 a.m., until 9:00 p.m. We will be closed on Thursday, 11-24 in celebration of Thanksgiving and will re-open on Friday, November 25th at 10:00 a.m. The rest of the weekend hours will remain the same as always. On Saturday, October 15th from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. we are presenting two new authors for children!
1. Author “BARBARA SIMPSON CARDUCCI”, and her book “STOREE WRYTER GETS A DOG”, named “Best Dog Book for Young Readers” by Cesar Milan, The Dog Whisperer (appropriate for ages 6-10) and RACHEL GOUD and her book “JOSHUA JENKINS AND THE COOKIE JAR CONUNDRUM (for ages 4-7). Tickets $20.00 and includes lunch, cupcakes and a signed copy of one of the books. We will also donate part of the ticket cost to the “FAIRFAX COUNTY LIBRARY FOUNDATION”…Come in or call “Cupcakes Actually” for ticket details!!!!
Cupcakes Actually is giving 30% of the proceeds of their Pink Ribbon Cupcake to the “Believe in Pink” group, who is walking in the 3 day race for the Cure for Susan G. Komen! Come on in and purchase one of our wonderful “Strawberry Fields” cupcakes with a special chocolate pink ribbon on it!!!~
Cupcakes Actually has been involved in a contest for the best Cupcakery in Washington D.C. So far we are in the top five and we would really appreciate it if some of our faithful customers would give us a vote (if you think we are the best).
